BP Impact = 10
Transformational Impact = 2
While I do provide my review of Carditone on my home page, here’s more of the back story.
I’m fortunate enough to have a friend who just also happens to be a naturopathic physician. Shortly after I learned of my high blood pressure situation, as a friend, I had the luxury of texting her and saying, “Hey, found out my bp is pretty high. Any suggestions other than prescription meds?” Shortly thereafter she called me and we had a 30 minute conversation which filled my note pad with information. How lucky am I? I absolutely HATE going to the doctor – the “why” of which is probably worthy of a web site of its own – so to receive a phone call from a trusted friend who knew what she was talking about was probably the single biggest break I got in solving my blood pressure problem. And this is how I learned about Carditone. She shared with me that in her experience in with herbal supplements for high blood pressure, she’d seen the best results from Carditone. She also let me know that this was not going to be an expensive endeavor; the supplement was very affordable.
Based on my BP reading at the dentist of 173/119 and a heart rate of 85, this is the guidance she gave me:
Disclaimer: I’m sharing the guidance I received based on my situation. I am not offering medical advise. Carditone should be used under your doctor’s care.
Pre-game scouting report:
>1 tablet a day should do the trick. It’s ok to take up to 2 if needed. But if 2 isn’t doing the job, then RX would be recommended as well. She would give me guidance on what would be the best RX to use if we got to that point. Fortunately, we didn’t have to go there.
>I was advised that it will start working pretty quickly (4-5 days) and if my readings were borderline based on her guidance, to start out with a lower dose (half a tablet per day) rather than a full tablet a day; that it’s easier to up the dose if needed rather than have my BP drop too low. She told me that the only side effect she’d seen from it was some light headedness when standing up quickly for people who were taking 2 pills per day.
>I was to take my blood pressure twice a day, everyday (morning and night). She recommended the Omron brand of blood pressure monitor. In her opinion, this brand held up well over the long term and was accurate. I took her advise on this and I still have the same monitor, working fine, 4 years later.
The Game Plan:
Based on what my blood pressure was at the dentist, she was mostly focused on my diastolic pressure (bottom number) and we set up a game plan:
- If my bottom number (diastolic) was less than 90, to continue with my lifestyle changes, and to take a wait and see approach.
- If my bottom number was at 90-99, to take a half a pill a day and continue to monitor.
- If my bottom number was at 100 or more, to take a whole pill a day and continue to monitor.
If a whole pill a day wasn’t working, I was to call her for more guidance before taking a higher dose. Fortunately, 1 pill or less a day did the trick for me.
She also advised me that I would see my heart rate decline from the 85 that it was at the dentists office, which it did.
The Win:
I started out with taking a whole pill a day based on the guidelines she’d given me. In 3 days, my diastolic number was down into the 90s, so I cut back to half a pill a day. I continued with half a pill a day for about 11 days, and then my diastolic number was at or below 80. At this point, I knew from reading about Carditone that it was long lasting and that it stayed in the system so I wanted to be careful to not continue taking doses if my bottom number was getting into the normal range. So I stopped taking it for about 5 days, and then when my diastolic number started climbing back up, I continued with taking a half a pill, every other day.
With consistent monitoring, I adjusted my dose based on what my readings were as I got a feel for timing, etc. During all of this, I was also implementing some serious lifestyle changes that were undoubtedly also having a positive impact on my blood pressure.
Carditone did what it needed to until the benefits of my other changes took effect. The longer I stayed with my lifestyle changes, the less and less I needed the Carditone. In fact, I never even had to finished the whole bottle.
A friend who knew of my Carditone success story had a co-worker who was on BP medication but it was not effective. She asked if I had any Carditone left, and I gave her the rest of what was in my bottle to pass along to her co-worker. I did end up ordering another bottle of it because I still have periods of time when I need just a little extra help in keeping my BP in the normal range. After sitting in my cabinet for nearly 3 years, it’s still effective.
And that co-worker…… she still says thank you……
The only “side effect”, if you want to call it that, that I experienced from Carditone was a feeling of calm. The first morning after taking it I woke up feeling peaceful and noticed the absence of stress. That was an unexpected, but pleasant surprise. It really helped to reduce my anxiety about having high blood pressure; I focused less on the possible health consequences and more on my plan of action. Knowing it is there really helps me to just relax and keep doing the work, knowing that extra support is right there if I need it.
